PENTOFURYL capsules contain the active ingredientnifuroxazide.

The drug is used for acute and chronic diarrhea. Nifuroxazide is applied when the causes of diarrhea are bacteria and these bacteria can be killed by nifuroxazide.

Dosage

Adults and children over the age of ten take two to four capsules a day. The drug should only be taken in medically justified exceptional cases longer than seven days long.
